Daiki sighed, he was a bit dissapointed, he really wanted her to have it. But thinking it over he realized something:
He wasn't himself!
Ack! What's happening to me! Why am I feeling sad for her cuase she's blind and hunting for her!??! What is this!? He watched her walk away and then ran to the back of the den. Thinking it over and sometimes looking back to her.

{Daiki has never had a... crush... before... he's confused...}

"Stop staring... I can feel your breath on my face." Menya muttered, then laid down and slept lightly, her ears twitching every time Daiki breathed

Daiki gave up and walked outside, he couldn't shake what he had for Menya... Staring up into the sky he thought about himself and his old pack. Then of him an her.

Woke up when Daiki left. "Daggone noises won't let me sleep." She muttered. She wondered if Daiki liked her like she liked him... By what she could tell, he was nice. She walked outside and ran right into him. "Hi Daiki!" Shepractically yelled.

"Wha-!" he jumped up, "Oh, hi..." he muttered, looking away from her he blushed in embaressment, "What do you want?"

"You woke me up." She says, then feels that that might cause him to take offense "My ears are better than any other wolves, cause the blindness. Not that I was born this way. Thank you for the meat, Daiki. You're really..." Menya fades off, muttering lightly to herself.

"Don't bother... You can think of me in anyway you can. But you don't know me, you don't know what I've done..." He lowers his head,trying to erase the memories. But he couldn't.

"Menya, I need to tell you something." He looked over to Menya and urged a smile.

Turns headvtoward Daiki, keeping one ear pointed at him and the other swiveling. "Yes?" Menya asks, slightly excited

"Find another wolf? Umm, no. I am NOT gonna take orders from you. I will do what I want, when I want, and I'm staying!" Menya sat down firmly and somehow fixeed her eyes on his, her eyes looking slightly softer than they usually do.

"I don't want you to get hurt! I've done bad things! Do you not understand! I love you and I don't want you to get hurt!" He wanted her to understand, but she wasn't giong to leave. "It's no use is it..." he looked into her eyes with his sad eyes.

"Nope!" Menya said, then stood up and nudged him with her nose. "Stop dwelling on the past, Daiki! What matters is now."

Daiki looked up at her, "Yes, your right..." standing up he trotted to the back of the cave and laided down.

Listened to Daiki move away then lay down outside. Something fell on her nose. Snow. She sighed.

Menya's tail hits once against the ground. "Thanks, Daiki, my love." she thinks.

Menya drifts to sleep, dreaming of evil creatures. She can see in her dream, but everything is so bright! Except for the creatures with lifeless eyes. She twitched as she dreamt.
